Coffee Talks: A Time for Friends, Faculty & Learning About Your Child’s Education
Back-to-School Night is a rite of passage every school year. We appreciate the wonderful attendance of parents and the opportunity to discuss your child’s school experience in the coming year. We know, however, that there is never enough time to take a deep dive into the curricula and to answer all of your questions.
That is why we have created grade-specific “Coffee Talks” as a follow-up to Back to School Night. We have two kinds of Coffee Talks:
Our Curriculum Coffee Talks are hour-long sessions with the teaching team from each grade level. Teachers will share more in-depth about what children learn and do during the year in all of the subject areas. There is time to ask questions and get to know the teachers better, in a more relaxed and intimate session.
Our Parenting Coffee Talks are also hour-long sessions and they are led by our guidance counselor, Sarah Greenstein. Sarah will share age-specific information about parenting, child development, and the social-emotional-behavioral needs and issues of children at the different stages.
We hope you will mark your calendars and join us!
