Rosh Hashanah & Active Jewish Learning
By Gvira Abed
In the week before Rosh Hashana, the kindergartners and high schoolers and the 5th and first graders got together for a Rosh Hashanah community event. The older students ran Rosh Hashanah stations such as: counting pomegranate seeds, tasting traditional Rosh Hashanah food, creating Rosh Hashanah cards for staff in school, blowing the shofar and more. It was heartwarming to see our community work and learn together.
