I wanted to take a few moments to tell you about this amazing project that our students have been working on. This past November, students within Mrs. Dolinka’s 5th grade Math 6 honors class met with Ms. Schneid’s 8th Grade Honors Algebra 1 to work on designing iPad apps to help teach students math. The fifth graders provided the content expertise, user interface and design feedback while the eighth grade students storyboarded and created the application within Lightwell (an app development tool that allows students to create apps without coding). Please join us on Wednesday morning to celebrate the genius, the hard work, and the persistence of these students as they present the first iteration of their work together.
