4th Grade Field Trip to Sacramento by Sheryl Rabinowitz
On March 7th our 4th grade students flew to Sacramento for 2 action packed days of living history. Thank you to Mrs. Lerner, Morah Hagit and the parents who chaperoned. On arriving in Sacramento they headed straight to the Capitol building. Afterwards, the students explored Sutter’s Fort. Then they headed over to Old Town and the Railroad Museum. In the evening, the Sacramento zoo brought over some interesting animals to the hotel. The next day the group stopped off at the Fish Hatchery. They then moved on to the Goldbug and Priest Mine where they were able to pan for gold, as well as visit the Stamp Mill. An enjoyable time was had by all. Included are somephotos from the trip.
