Textbook Swap

As we come to the end of another wonderful year, the PTO wants to let you know about a wonderful opportunity at school for getting your textbooks for the coming year.

We are having a FREE TEXT BOOK SWAP!  You or your student can drop off old text books (must still be in good condition and currently used by the school, but can be from previous years) any time between now and the end of the school year. There will be a box in the MUS office.

If you have donated books, then you or your student will then be eligible to return on the days/times listed below to select some books for next year.  This is a free service, no money will change hands. You may bring books to donate at these times too. Availability will depend upon what is submitted.

This is a great way to prepare for next year, get rid of old books, and save money and time!

Rising 6th graders (currently 5th) are welcome to come by and take books that they will need for 6th grade without bringing any books.

Book swap days/times:

Wednesday June 13th: 2pm-3pm

Thursday June 14th: 11am – 12 noon

During new student orientation before school opens next year – time TBD.

Please note:

We are doing everything we can to ensure that the books we have will be the ones used in the coming year but cannot guarantee that will be the case.

If you choose a book and it turns out that it will not be used next school year, if the swap is still open, you may return that book and choose another, if another book is available.

There is no guarantee that you will be able to swap for the same amount of books that you turn in. Availability will depend upon what is submitted. There is no guarantee that we will have what you need. We would love for you to participate as long as these conditions are acceptable to you.

All books are considered “used” books. If a book you select is new, that is just by chance.

We ask that participants only turn in gently used books and will try to have only gently used books available to swap.  However, we cannot guarantee the quality or condition of any book.

Thank you for participating.
