Levana’s Garden Farm Stand – A huge success!
- 06
- Jun
We are so glad that so many people could come out and shop at our first ever Farm Stand. Parents and students picked up a variety of organic items, including mulberries, basil, sage, tea, cherry tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, edible flowers and more. It is all a part of the beautiful and growing connection between food services, the garden, and children’s interdisciplinary studies in science and economics. We are excited to introduce an Eco-Literacy unit to the general studies curriculum at every grade level in the coming year. Keep an eye out for more Farm Stands to come! Special thanks to Executive Chef Giselle, Master Gardener Tammy, Shani Abed, Mrs. Marks and all the 4th and 5th grade teachers and students who worked so hard, and provided exceptional service, to make this event a success.

- Gratitude for a Year with You – By Kelley King

Families came together last Sunday for a spirited Family Dance. The kids enjoyed donuts (lots of them!), dancing and party games while the adults got to mingle and partake of some wine and cheese. It is always so fun to see the kids together outside of the school day, some of them dressed to the […]
