Families came together last Sunday for a spirited Family Dance. The kids enjoyed donuts (lots of them!), dancing and party games while the adults got to mingle and partake of some wine and cheese. It is always so fun to see the kids together outside of the school day, some of them dressed to the nines for the event. It was heart-warming the way children of different ages interacted so seamlessly and naturally with one another. Building friendships across the grades is something we try to do at school and it’s nice to see that paying off and that the children really feel that they’re all part of a school family. Thank you so much to the event coordinator, Tonia Cohn! Thanks also to teacher Daniella Marks and the fifth graders for their hard work in promoting the event. Clarice Barrelet provided assistance with food and Jeremy Cohn was a pro with the decorations. And thank you to DJ Benjamin Asher who provided the music. (https://benjaminaproductions.com/).
