7th Grade Back Packs: The 7th grade students have recently embarked upon a Tikkun Olam project. They are planning and organizing to fill backpacks with hygiene/bathroom supplies, school supplies, and every day necessities for individuals and families currently living in their cars. Backpacks will be delivered to JFS on February 7th, when the 9th grade students engage in their Embrace a Family/Safe Driving Program.
6th Grade Pet Project: During the last week of January, the 6th grade students will be participating in their first Tikkun Olam project of the year! During EXCSEL, they will be using some of the donated clothes and t-shirts from our clothing drive currently taking place, and create dog and animal toys for the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
The process is over; long live the process! Our seniors have completed their lengthy engagement with considering which colleges to apply to, and then completing their applications.
