MUS teachers Yvonne Webber, Judaic Studies, and Elizabeth Nebo, Art, were selected to participate in the Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute for the Arts. The Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute for the Arts is a one-year program designed to provide professional development to teachers through an intensive training program during the summer, followed by year-long mentoring on a project for introduction into the classroom the following year. SDJA is grateful for being chosen to participate in the Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute for the Arts. Mrs. Webber and Ms. Nebo are excited to be attending the five-day training this summer at Camp Ramah and will develop a collaborative art and Judaic project to complete over the course of the year. We look forward to sharing with our community how this program positively impacts our teachers and students.
