Alli Ramseyer is thrilled to be joining the First Grade teaching team at SDJA. She has been teaching since 2002, after graduating from Vanderbilt University. After teaching in Brooklyn, NY for many years, she received her Masters degree from Columbia University’s Teachers College in Lucy Calkins’ Literacy Specialist program. Her biggest passion is helping spark in her students the beginning of a lifelong love for reading and writing.
Alli grew up in Connecticut and relocated to California with her husband, Joe in 2012. Her family grew by one this past January with the birth of her second son, Tyler. He joined big brother, Grant, who just turned three. In her spare time, Alli loves exploring San Diego with her family.
