Relax and Recharge, By Chaim Heller, Head of School
We will soon leave on the longest break of the school year and we are all looking for quality family time away from work and school. Our students have performed endless Chanukah plays, completed an endless array of final exams and sent off their final college applications. We are exhausted.
But it’s the tiredness of having worked hard and accomplished much that we are all feeling. We have seen a focus on classroom instruction, student engagement and faculty emotionally supporting their students that has made the first four months of school shine through. We are proud of what we have accomplished this year.
As the final cars leave the school parking lots tomorrow, know that we will all recharge and relax, so we may return on Tuesday, January 5th refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for the next chapter of school and of life. (We’ll see our wonderful ECC parents on Monday, January 4th).
Have a wonderful winter break,
