Accomplishments and Dedication, By Chaim Heller, Head of School

As we approach the end of another successful school year, we pause to appreciate the accomplishments and dedication that made it all possible.

  • On Wednesday at 2pm our annual Lions Awards for MUS students will recognize those (many) students whose behaviors and actions are worthy of respect and emulation. This year, we add new awards in categories connected to two initiatives from this year: Innovation and Advanced Judaic studies.
  • On Thursday at 5pm you are invited to join the SDJA Annual Meeting, in which you’ll hear an update on our school, honor people who have served as trustees and welcome new ones, and thank those teachers and staff who have been part of our lives for 18 years+.
  • On Sunday, June 11th at 12:30pm, you are invited to see the graduation ceremony. In our day to day lives, we forget that there is a greater goal in mind, the development of articulate, academically capable and mature young men and women, well-prepared for their next steps in life. Our graduates will share their perspectives and experiences, and it is a not-to-be-missed event.

We hope to see you at one of our end of year celebratory events. Each one adds to a fuller understanding of the benefits of an SDJA education. And you’ll enjoy them, too.
