SDJA World Cup: Mexico vs South Africa
Friday, June 11th, 2010
The last day of school was a little different this year with approximately 500 people showing up to watch the opening game of the World Cup, which featured Mexico versus South Africa. SDJA has many Mexican and South African families who send their students to the school. This made SDJA an ideal place to show the opening game of the World Cup. The gym was completely full early in the morning and featured a large projection screen that showed the game. With both the Middle School soccer team and Upper School soccer team winning championships this year, it was clear that there are some talented players at SDJA. The turn out at this event made it very clear that there are also many passionate soccer fans at the school as well. To view pictures of the event, click on the link at the bottom of the page.
