Scholastic Art and Writing Award – Since 1923, The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers recognizes creative teenagers from across the country. By receiving a Scholastic Art & Writing Awards national medal, these students join a legacy of former recipients including Truman Capote, Sylvia Plath and Andy Warhol. The written work of all gold medalists will be on display at the National Exhibition at the New School in NYC and the Pratt Gallery also in NYC.
