Recently, Morah Esti was invited to attend The National Conference of the Hebrew Teachers Association in North America. The theme of the event was: “Hebrew: The Key to Identity, Culture, Heritage and Literacy”
The conference focused on describing the achievements and challenges facing the practitioners of the teaching of the Hebrew language in the Diaspora, with current tools for promoting and acquiring Hebrew, and in shaping future directions of development. The conference provided a unique opportunity for a professional-educational encounters of all those involved in the teaching and learning of the Hebrew language and culture: Hebrew teachers in the formal and informal educational frameworks of all ages and streams, volunteers, leaders, researchers and donors.
Morah Esti was one of 300 participants and she was proud and honored to represent SDJA.
