Synagogue SDJA Compact
Welcome to the Synagogue - SDJA Compact!
San Diego Jewish Academy recognizes that synagogues play an important role in a Jewish child's life and for the family as a whole. In order to help foster these strong connections, a partnership has been formed known as the Synagogue - SDJA Compact.
SDJA sees great potential by joining forces and building a partnership that will strengthen religious life, youth and educational programming, Israel and social action opportunities. By mutually benefitting from each other's programs and resources we bring strength to each institution for a stronger Jewish community, and build upon the values of Klal Yisrael.
This innovative partnership began when SDJA invited all San Diego County synagogues to join in the compact. To date there are five synagogues that have chosen to participate in the program including: Congregation Beth Am, Congregation Beth El, Congregation Beth Israel, Ohr Shalom Synagogue and Temple Solel. SDJA is very excited to begin this joint venture with these synagogues with our first major community wide event: Tikkun Leil Shavuot.
