- If the salary range for a position is listed in the posting, make sure that it meets your own salary requirements.
- Submit your application and allow 5 business days for your information to be reviewed by the HR office before calling to discuss your candidacy.

Substitute Teachers
Position Available for Immediate Hire San Diego Jewish Academy continuously seeks substitute teachers to work with children in grades K-12. Applicants must have the ability to work on short notice. Bachelors or Post-Bachelors Degree required; State of CA Teaching Certificate and/or teaching experience preferred. Applicants are required to provide two letters of recommendation along with their employment application, cover letter, and resume. Substitutes are paid at a rate of $16.00 per classroom hour; SDJA does not reimburse for travel time to and from teaching assignments. Substitute positions include elementary, middle, and high school assignments. If you have a teaching preference, please be sure to note on the employment application.

Humanities Teacher
Position Available August 2008 San Diego Jewish Academy seeks a part-time Middle School Humanities Teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. This position requires a high level of initiative and independent decision making. Candidates must have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Teacher will be required to attend and participate in a variety of in-service trainings and meetings. Bachelor’s or Post-Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, English, or History plus 3 years teaching experience and/or secondary teaching credential required; State of CA Teaching Certificate preferred. Network Administrator
Position Available for Immediate Hire San Diego Jewish Academy seeks a full-time network professional to administer a server farm; along with the file, print, exchange and DB servers. Additionally, this individual will provide user support to faculty and staff with varied technology backgrounds (help desk). Experience with Win 2000/2003 server, exchange, and SQL required. Candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, a multi tasker, fast learner, and possess excellent people skills. Must be a dynamic net-admin, with the ability to be productive while learning new skills. Experience with terminal servers and/or Citrix is beneficial.
