Tarbuton-New Hebrew Classes Forming

The Tarbuton, an Israeli Cultural Center, Celebrates its Third year - New Classes This Fall offered at the Ken Jewish Community The Tarbuton offers classes for children ages 3-12 and adults. Classes are taught by teachers with teaching credentials backed by proven curriculum. Tarbuton programs emphasize Israel and modern spoken Hebrew. Hebrew reading and writing classes, Karate and Playball are also conducted in Hebrew. Cultural programs such as Israeli Music and Israeli Cooking are offered in English. Classes are one hour each and meet weekday afternoons between 3:30-6:30. An Adult Hebrew Ulpan is offered in Carmel Valley on Mondays at 4:30 and 5:30. The adult ulpan is offered in the same time slot as children's programs so that parents can learn Hebrew while their children do - each in their own age appropriate class. Prospective families are welcome to visit the Tarbuton and try a class after school or stop by for an event. The web site is updated regularly with current activities.
