For 37 years, the Academy has maintained a legacy of nurturing Jewish values and Jewish life in generations of students, while preparing them to be advocates, entrepreneurs, and leaders in their communities to affect change all over the world. It is through the support of our community that we can continue this important work each and every year.
The support we receive through the 8 Days of Giving Campaign will benefit the Academy’s Annual Fund.
What is an Annual Fund?
An Annual Fund is one of the most crucial areas of funding for non-profits. Funds raised each year to support the Annual Fund provide the budget dollars needed to improve the SDJA experience. The revenue received from tuition alone only covers 80% of our operating budget.
Annual Fund support provides the funding needed to not only bridge the gap between tuition revenue and our operating expenses, but to improve our programming, our campus, and the overall SDJA experience each year while keeping tuition affordable, and making a Jewish day school education accessible to our entire community.
